VideoHere Come the Wachowskis with Speed RacerDec 9, '07 12:00 PM
for everyone
Andy and Larry Wachowski, the geniuses behind the Matrix Trilogy that revolutionized the way we know filmmaking, are back and this time they've got speed and acid straight from the 60's.

After V for Vendetta, The Wachowski Brothers jumped into the driver's seat and pulled back from oblivion this 60's anime. Based from the TV show of the same title, Speed Racer stars Emile Hirsch (Into The Wild) as Speed. The cast also includes Matthew Fox as Racer X, Susan Sarandon, Scott Porter (who plays Superman in the upcoming JLA movie), and Korean Superstar Rain.

Here's the full trailer of Speed Racer. This has got to be the Wachowski's most color-filled movie ever, as opposed to the Matrix's green and black tone and Vendetta's red and black motif.

Just like the Matrix, I'm sure Speed Racer will recalibrate the way film is done in more ways than one. This will again inspire a huge cult following. Ah, blessed are the Wachowskis.

Here's the trailer. Enjoy!

speakin of top 10 movies to watch for 2008, sir! have you seen the trailer of the movie CLOVERFIELD? haha. check it out sa youtube. i don't know if it's gonna be a good one but the genius behind it is the guy (J.J. Abrams) who produced 'Lost'. haha. it seems to be generating a lot of buzz (puro media mileage sa mga news programs in the states! haha). sa jan 18 ang release date ata e. ewan, when i watched the trailer, parang Godzilla. hahaha. u have to hav a keen eye (and use the pause button) to see what the Cloverfield monster actually looks like. hehe.
