When the ocean beckons, take heed.
I have been itching to get a weekend off from the daily hassles here in Manila. Nothing beats the daily stresses than sand, sea, and surf!
Actually, I didn't plan to go this weekend. This wasn't supposed to be a free weekend for me. But good waves don't come that often and when I got a text from the Surf Princess (Thanks Friend!) telling me that Typhoon Luis is already heading for China and he left behind some really nasty waves in La Union, who am I to say no.
So, when the last student to finish turned in his test paper last Friday, I caught myself saying Hello again to the sweet South China Sea. In between checking longtests and final papers (yes, I brought work with me!!!), it was just me and the ocean.

| Tnx. Though I may want credit for these pictures, most of these aren't my shots. I left my camera ashore and my friend took the liberty to just click away. I'm glad though, dahil since I got my camera, photographer na lang ako lagi. At least this time, the camera is pointed at me. Hahaha. My shots are the ones where I'm not in the picture. :-) |
